Hill Air Force Base Project

The Hill Air Force Base Project is a contract between the BLM and Utah State University who employed agencies to study threatened, endangered and sensitive plant and animal species in the Air Force fly-over zones.

Utah State University faculty, staff and students from the departments of Geography and Earth Resources, Fisheries and Wildlife, Forest Resources and Range Science compile the data for this project.

One of their goals is to synthesize historical records and new information on the biota of an 11 million acre tract of land in a remote desert region in North America.
