If you are having problems with various functions of the Remote Sensing / GIS lab operations, you'll want to contact the following persons:

• Accounting questions

General billing and accounting related questions should be addressed to admin@nr.usu.edu via email.

• Arc/INFO & ArcView questions

RS/GIS Lab:
Contact your project leader and then have them contact  Jown Lowry  for problems with Arc/INFO or ArcView problems.

Before you ask for help, you should check on online documentation.  You can start the Arc/INFO documentation viewer within Arc/INFO by typing "help", or from the unix command line with the command "arcdoc".

Other Labs:
Contact your project leaders.  If you need further assistance contact:  Bonnie B. Banner (RS/GIS Teaching Lab Manager) or Debi Jensen (ESRI Site License Manager). For Direct help from ESRI.
 
 
 

• ERDAS Imagine questions

RS/GIS Lab:
Confer with your project leader and then request that they address questions on ERDAS Imagine to  R. Douglas Ramsey or  Jown Lowry

If you have any problems with the operation of your workstation, problems with programs not running correctly (NOT problems like "how do I clean a workspace in Arc/INFO", but questions like "when I type 'arc', why does my computer crash?"), or questions about generic Unix utilities, please contact your direct supervisor
