I am Associate Director of the RS/GIS Laboratory in the College of Natural Resources at Utah State University. I am also working on a PhD in the Dept. of Environment and Society. My research interests lie in the area of spatial and temporal interactions of humans with their environment. I am particularly interested in the effects of urban growth, typically characterized as "sprawl", on ecosystem services. I have been working with Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing technologies since 1991 and have over 10 years experience managing GIS/RS projects. I have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects and enjoy the challenges of inter-disciplinary work.
