Geographic Information Systems, Fall 2003
This is the home page for AWER 4930, Geographic Inforamtion Systems,
which meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9am, BNR 314.
The course is taught by Paul Box.
The primary goal of this course is technical training in GIS. This
will include lecturs on many of the theoretical aspects of GIS, such
as data structures, databases, cartography, and spatial analysis,
however the greatest amount of learning will come from the hands-on
work in lab classes, which will meet once weekly.
