- Curriculum vitae
Doug’s background is in rangeland resources management and landscape ecology with an emphasis in remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems. His teaching focuses on applications of remote sensing to natural resource issues and his research addresses monitoring of landscapes to detect changes in land cover using remotely sensed imagery.
He has been actively engaged in remote sensing and GIS since 1985 in a variety of application fields from urban growth to geology and, of course, natural resource management.
